10:00-2:00 Jupiter Hammerhead Wiffle Ball Batting Cage
10:15-11:00 ArtStage Students ages 8-18, doing a variety of dance from modern to ballet, jazz hip hop, musical theatre.
11:15 - 12:00 Duncan Middle School Chorus singing songs from around the world including Chinese and Swahili and musical excerpts from the Wizard of Oz and Grease.
11:30-1:30 Hamilton the Hammerhead
12:15 - 1:00 Busch Wildlife Demonstration
1:15 – 3:15 Oceans 2 Bill and Skip perform their Island and Caribbean music
3:30- 4:00 Atlantic Dance Theatre Students of all ages performing hip hop dance.
4:10 - 6:00 Oceans 2 Bill and Skip perform their Island and Caribbean music
The Loggerhead Marinelife Center will host the 6th Annual Turtlefest and One-Year Anniversary Celebration of our new facility on April 19, 2008. A free fun-filled family event celebrating sea turtle nesting season and educating the community on the fragile marine life ecosystems and the environment in South Florida
Activities include: Live music, performances from local youth performing arts organizations, children's games and activities, recycling and environmental awareness activities, food pavilion, silent auction, sea turtle observation and marine life exhibits.
All proceeds will go towards the Loggerhead Marinelife Center's sea turtle rehabilitation, youth educational programs and the center's operating costs.
