You can support Loggerhead Marinelife Center by "adopting" a sea turtle patient starting at just $35. Your adoption directly benefits the continued care and treatment of our sick and injured sea turtles or further study of the greens, leatherbacks and loggerheads that nest on 9.8 miles of shore in Juno Beach, Jupiter and Tequesta.

Our sea turtles need your help!
The Gordon and Patricia Gray Veterinary Hospital at Loggerhead Marinelife Center treated 76 green, hawksbill, Kemp’s ridley and loggerhead sea turtles in 2011 as well as 1,568 hatchlings. Your turtle adoption directly supports this effort by providing funding for medication, tank maintenance, food, and veterinary care. Plus, you’ll receive exclusive updates about your turtle including advance notice of its release!
Loggerhead Marinelife Center biologists counted 9,856 nests on 9.8 miles of beach last year, resulting in over 1 million eggs laid and over 400,000 hatchlings reaching the water. Your nest adoption provides funding critical to the continued survival of these threatened and endangered animals. Plus, at the end of nesting season you’ll receive data about your nest including its location, species, and hatch success as well as a brief summary of how other nests in the area fared.
