Guided Tours

Our Guided Tour program is designed to offer guests a more comprehensive experience on campus. During this 1 hour program, an education docent leads registered guests through the Exhibit Hall and Turtle Yard, touching on topics such as conservation efforts, LMC history, and the current conditions of our patients. Guided tour programs include:

Public Guided Tours

Every Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
Every Monday at 2:00 p.m.
Every Friday at 2:00 p.m.

If you’ve ever wondered about the fish in our tanks or the sea turtle patients in our yard, this is the tour for you! Lasting one hour, an education docent will take you through our exhibit hall and turtle yard and answer all your burning questions.
Registration takes place in the gift shop on the day of the tour.

• Tours are $7/adult, $5/child under 12, free for children under 3
• No pre-registration is required
• Limited to 15 guests

 

 

Private Guided Tours


There is no better way to experience the Loggerhead Marinelife Center than through a private guided tour. Enjoy being escorted through campus by one of our talented guides, going behind the gates of our rehabilitation area to get up close and personal with our sea turtle patients. The guides will discuss sea turtle behavior, morphology, habitats, and conservation as well as answer any questions you might have.

• Tours are $10/ person with a minimum of 5 people (or $50 for groups smaller than 5)
• Tour length is one hour
• Tours are by advance reservation only
• Limited to 15 guests

Private Evening Guided Tours

Dates/Times: Booked based on availability by advance reservation.

Evening private tours are now being offered at LMC! Our newest program offers guests the ultimate experience during an after-hours tour, led by an experienced guide. Light bites and refreshments will be provided as participants are led through our exhibit hall to learn about the different sea turtle species, LMC and our conservation efforts, and a variety of aquaria found in our local marine ecosystems. For the second part of the tour, guests will be brought beyond the gates of our turtle yard for a “meet and greet” with our sea turtle patients.

• Tours are $20/adult, $12/child under 12, free for children under 3 ($100 minimum)
• Limited to 15 guests
• Tour length is one hour
