Experiences : Scout Programs


 

Our Girl Scout program caters to Girl Scouts on varied merit badge levels. During this 1.5 hour program, scouts will learn about the biology of sea turtles, the challenges they face, and current conservation efforts as well as have a first-hand look at our current patients. Leaders and 2 chaperones are free. 

The Girl Scout programs are as follows:
• Girl Scouts Love Sea Turtles (GSSEF)

Cost: $10/Scout including patch; 10 scout minimum
Ages: All

 



Join LMC on December 3rd for a one-time reduced-rate Girl Scout program. This event is $7/scout ($10/scout with patch) and all ages are welcome. Our Girl Scout program caters to Girl Scouts on varied merit badge levels. Our Boy Scout program caters to both Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts on varied merit levels. During this 1.5 hour program, scouts will learn about the biology of sea turtles, the challenges they face, and current conservation efforts as well as have a first-hand look at our current patients. An all-inclusive lesson plan for troop leaders is provided.

The Boy Scout programs are as follows:

• Reptile & Amphibian Patch (Merit Scouts)

• Wildlife Conservation Beltloop (Cub Scouts)
