Annual Go Blue Awards Luncheon
The Eighth Annual Go Blue Awards Luncheon
October 28, 2016 – PGA National Resort & Spa, Palm Beach Gardens
The Eighth Annual Go Blue Awards recognizes individuals and organizations who are leading the community in practicing ocean conservation and are on the leading edge of going “Blue!”. Featuring special guest and keynote speaker, Paul Nicklen.
The 8th Annual Go Blue Awards Luncheon will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at PGA National Resort & Spa, Palm Beach Gardens.
Starting on July 15, LMC will be accepting nominations for the 2016 Go Blue Awards, which are given annually to four individuals and a business that are making extraordinary contributions by promoting ocean conservation. Nominations can be made through August 26. Finalists were announced at a Blue Friends Society social in September at PGA National Resort & Spa.
Paul Nicklen, a globally acclaimed, Canadian-born photographer and marine biologist, has been documenting both the beauty and the plight of our planet’s polar regions and our world’s oceans for over twenty years. As an assignment photographer for National Geographic Magazine, he has been able to capture the imagination of a global audience. His personal mission is to use his images, which are often highly emotional, evocative, and very beautiful, to ignite a conversation about the future of our planet’s natural wonders and to inspire action.
Winners will be announced on October 28, 2016 at the 8th Annual Go Blue Awards Luncheon at PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens.
