Our sea turtle patients need your help!

You can support the sea turtle hospital by "adopting" a sea turtle patient for just $35.

The LMC sea turtle hospital treats and releases 50 to 60 sea turtles and thousands of hatchlings each year. Your adoption directly supports this effort by providing the funding for medication, tank maintenance, food, and veterinary care.

Costs to care for sick and injured sea turtles:

• $8,750 for x-rays per year, or $50 for one x-ray
• $10,800 per year for bloodwork, or $90 for one blood test
• $1,600 per turtle, per year, on food and medical care.

Adoption Packets Include:

• A personalized adoption certificate for the sea turtle of your choice
• A one year subscription to the Turtle Times newsletter
  (the official publication of the LMC)
• A "KEEP SEA TURTLES IN THE DARK"
  bumper sticker for your vehicle
• An impressive, informative packet regarding your new adoptee
